Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 9, 2026
The Short Version
We collect your name, email, and company info when you fill out our contact form. We use cookieless analytics that cannot identify you. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not track you across the internet. If you want us to delete your info, just ask.
Who We Are
Simplementix, Inc. is a consulting firm that helps businesses connect their revenue tools using Salesforce, DocuSign, and integration platforms. We also build SimplePerm, a Salesforce AppExchange application for permission set migration. This policy covers how we handle your information when you visit simplementix.com.
What We Collect
Contact Form
When you reach out through our contact form, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Company name
- The business challenge you selected
- Your estimated deal volume
- Whatever you write in the message field
Form submissions are processed through Web3Forms (their privacy policy). We receive the submission by email and store it to follow up with you.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics platform that we self-host. Umami runs in cookieless mode, meaning it does not place cookies on your device, does not collect personal information, and cannot identify or track individual visitors. The only data it gathers is aggregate — things like total page views, which countries visitors come from, and what browsers they use.
Spam Protection
Our contact form uses hCaptcha to block automated spam. When you interact with the captcha, hCaptcha may collect your IP address and browser characteristics to confirm you are a real person. You can read hCaptcha's privacy policy for full details.
How We Use Your Information
We use what you share with us to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Evaluate whether our services are a good fit
- Follow up on your specific question or request
- Improve how our website works (using anonymous aggregate analytics only)
We will not add you to a marketing list or send promotional emails unless you explicitly opt in.
SimplePerm and AI
SimplePerm is our Salesforce AppExchange application for migrating profiles to permission sets. A few things worth knowing about how it handles data:
- What it accesses: SimplePerm works with Salesforce metadata — permission sets, profiles, and configuration settings. It does not access your customer records, business data, or personally identifiable information.
- Where data stays: All processing happens within your Salesforce environment. SimplePerm does not transmit your org's data to external servers.
AI features: Future SimplePerm tiers will include AI-powered analysis that evaluates permission structures and recommends optimizations. These AI features will process Salesforce metadata only, not customer data or PII. AI recommendations should be reviewed by your team before applying changes to your org. We will update this policy with specific data-handling details as these features become available.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Period.
The only third parties that touch your data are the services we need to run the website:
We may also share information if legally required — for example, in response to a court order or regulatory request.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain contact form submissions for up to 12 months. If we do not enter into a consulting engagement with you during that time, we delete your information. You can request deletion sooner by emailing us at any point.
Your Privacy Rights
Privacy laws in many jurisdictions give you specific rights over your personal information. Here is what you can do:
- Access: Ask us for a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request that we fix inaccurate information
- Deletion: Ask us to delete your data
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from any communications
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@simplementix.com. We will respond within 30 days.
For California Residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendments, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.
For Texas Residents
The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) provides you with rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data. You may also opt out of data processing for targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling. We do not engage in any of these activities.
For Residents of Other US States
Nineteen US states now have comprehensive privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Oregon, and others. If you reside in a state with an active privacy law, you likely have rights similar to those described above. Contact us and we will honor your request regardless of which state you live in.
For European Residents
Under the GDPR, we process your data on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to a business inquiry you initiated). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and port your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure hosting. That said, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.
Children
Our website and services are designed for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes
We may update this policy as our practices or the law evolve. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected individuals.
